So, just because McCreary moved the ball on them a little it means Bell didn't play very good. I mean people on here hammer me if I say McCreay didn't play very well in a game by saying it's all because of how the other team played. Come on, the fact of the matter is that we have a much improved offense so for once in four years we had some offensive yards against Bell Co. That doesn't mean Bell Co doesn't have a great team still it just shows that McCreary has made some improvements over the last 4 years. Does it hurt that much to give others credit when credit is due? If it makes you feel better to say that Bell played a crappy game and still beat McCreary 63-0 then by all means have at it. I mean I could easily say that McCreary played their worse game of the year tonight , if they would have caught those 2 passes and scored the 5 times they got inside the 30 the score would have been??????????????? But somehow that would seem to me just plain stupid and wouldn't make me feel any better about the game or how our kids played. I was at the game with a birdseye view and I can tell you for a 100% certainty that Bell Co is the best team we have played this year and even though I haven't seen everyone in 4-A play they are my favorites for a repeat of the championship (I will be pulling for them all the way) and that I have never seen a McCreary Co team play Bell without giving up after Bell scored 2 or 3 times until this game. Our boys played hard the entire time and gave it their all every play, they never once dropped their heads or gave up! I don't and will not accept a statement that Bell Co didn't play well and if in fact they didn't beat us to your expectations then I say to you that it was our play that caused it not the fact that Bell didn't play well! Again, I wish Bell all the luck in the world the rest of the way and will be pulling for you guys and when you make it to the semi's I will be there to watch you play. Until then GO RAIDERS!

Not sensitive here, just posting an opinion. The Rebels won their 1st of 5 straight in 1999. So I would like to say we have been winning championships for 20 years but in reality only over the past 10 years. Maybe we can agree to disagree. Yes, that will be a great game should we meet. Still alot of football to play before we get to there.

Easy now big guy. I am not making any downing statement on McCreary. Simply Bell did not look sharpe early. Did not takle well, did not cover well, did not take care of the ball, did not keep Watts contained and did not excute very well blocking. That are all signs of not being focused and ready to play.

 

No way am I downing MCC they played hard and looked orgainized unlike years past and this game was somewhat closer than what the score showed. Bell had a 2 Freshman players go wild in the end of the game and score 3 TD's late. (BTW Bell is very rich in the skilled postions for the next 4 years)

 

Boyle is still the clear cut favorite in 4A and it will take the game of a lifetime for anyone to knock them off.:thumb: Bell is very young and will be in the drivers seat next year IMO. :ylsuper:

I'll agree Bell looked like they have taken two weeks off. There execution on both sides of the ball was sluggish in this game. My Cats are in for disappointment if they play like they have for the last two weeks. Hope Coach gets the fire re-kindled this week and gets the boys back in focus for the big show.

conj; to Bell Co. A grate team usually beats a good team. I feel McCreary is a good team got a chance to beat Lynn Camp and to beat Lawrence Co. in playoffs. 6-3 not too bad. Good luck to Bell, Rock, Knox and McCreary Central in Play-offs.
