Setty gets more offers

Mason County junior Treg Setty landed his first college scholarship offer - from Southern Illinois - not long after turning in a stellar summer.

Now, the 6-foot-8 Setty is getting more.

Setty now also has offers from Miami (Ohio) and Ohio U. He's visited Notre Dame and last weekend went to Ohio last weekend and will take an unofficial to Miami this weekend.

While Xavier, Vanderbilt and Virginia have also shown a lot of interest, Setty said Alabama, Georgia and Minnesota have also been on contact.

Setty will make an unofficial to Alabama in a few weeks.

Congrats to Treg. Is he just a junior this year? I was thinking he was a senior.

Junior

Thats good. Hes a nice player. I believe he can do more than his brother could. Hes a stronger kid and better at putting the ball on the floor and going inside.

A lot of kids are getting a lot of offers.

Treg was invited down to watch the Alabama vs. LSU football a couple of weeks ago. So it would appear the Crimson Tide is showing interest. :sssh:
