October 1, 200917 yr Tell me how Derek Anderson gets the starting job over Brady Quinn, when in the secon half against the Ravens he threw 3 INT's, no TD. Cleveland may be the worst team in the NFL IMO. But look what you are doing to a kids confidence who you named the starter week one, and pull him after 2 1/2 games. Quinn brings more threats to the game, Cleveland what will you do next?
October 1, 200917 yr Usually you are said to have "won" a job. I'm not sure this job is worth winning.
October 1, 200917 yr I doubt Brady is with the browns much longer. Some of this is obviously on Quinn by the majority of this problem is on the browns front office for failing to put an NFL quality offense on the field.
October 1, 200917 yr Anderson gives the Browns a better deep ball threat IMO. Anderson has no accuracy.
October 1, 200917 yr Perhaps Anderson will give Jonathan Joseph more pass catching opportunities. :thumb:
October 1, 200917 yr Anderson has no accuracy. He was a Pro Bowler player 2 years ago, give him time.
October 1, 200917 yr He was a Pro Bowler player 2 years ago, give him time. couldn't the same be said for Quinn?
October 1, 200917 yr Yeah, because that offense was doing so well with Quinn under center. The truth of the matter is simple. Quinn is terrible, and Anderson is equally terrible, but at least Anderson can throw a quality deep ball every now and then.
October 1, 200917 yr Anderson has no accuracy. That's also the shot against Quinn. Some anonymous GMs were quoted as saying he's a "checkdown qb" and cited his low % of completions on passes over 11 yards.
October 1, 200917 yr There is lot invested into Quinn and he is much younger than Anderson. Anderson is 26 and Quinn is 24....:idunno:
October 1, 200917 yr Anderson is 26 and Quinn is 24....:idunno: That's closer than I remembered for sure. I would still think there is more upside to Quinn. But like most have said, the Browns are just terrible.
