Not practicing for two weeks showed itself in the game the players got winded. Talk bad about the team all you want but you have to give the guys credit for going out there and giving it thier all to try and win a district game instead of just canceling it. Not practicing for a few weeks would hurt any team. I strongly believe if they didn't have to cancel last weeks game and miss all that practice time this would have been a different game. Not making excuses just my opinion.

 

First of all who is talking bad about Brossart? Also can you tell me why you think they would have won? I mean what did they do this year to make you think this? It can't be because of who they have beaten, I mean Ludlow would have been undefeated with that schedule too. Also I thought that I heard that Brossart did practice most of the week before their one game got cancelled. Then they also practiced both days on the weekend before this game. So I don't believe that they missed two weeks of practice, because I thought for sure I heard that they did practice the week, because that game didn't get cancelled till Thursday I believe. Not to mention you would think the kids would also during the off time would do some conditioning on their own to make sure they were in shape.

I heard that with illness, the weather, and the funky schedule the Panthers actually only had one real practice and one walk-through going in to this game and I think it might have shown through with the rough first quarter.

Congrats to Ludlow on the win. Coach Hornsby is a class act!!! I really enjoy seeing them do well.
