September 27, 200916 yr Don't want to see Tebow hurt, but Meyer trying to run the score up deserves whatever happens. Calling the timeouts at the end of the half in a 31-7 game to try and block the punt, come on. I know others on here don't mind running it up but I hate that.

If he was trying to run it up he would have called more than 9 passes in the first half. I don't blame him on those timeouts in the first half you try and score as much as you can. Any lead you can build in a half you can lose in a half.

It wasn't as if he was letting up in the 2nd half, UK finally started putting up some fight. What I'm saying is more than just this game, because of the stupid BCS and "perception" of a win and margain many coaches do this and I hate it. Florida got critizied about last weeks UT game because the margain wasn't big enough, those kinds of things leads to the desire to run it up in my opinon. Obviously I admit I'm frustrated with this game and may simply be rambling about nothing.

I know others on here don't mind running it up but I hate that. 31 to 7 is still just a 3 possession game. I mean yeah Florida was dominating and UK probably wouldn't come back. However you can't take that chance, I mean its college football anything can happen. A 3 possession game is not that much, especially with a whole half to play. There was nothing wrong with what they did before half.
September 27, 200916 yr If UK can't get better at stopping the run it will be a long year... Its just a bad matchup for UK's defense. Actually its been a bad matchup for anyones defense against Florida's offense. Shouldn't really judge UK's defense that much on this game. Next weeks game against Alabama will be against a type of offense they usually go against, and should do much better. Next week is UK's best chance at an upset.
