True and excellent point! The YES network is a HUGE money maker for Yankees and they have advantages because of it. But you and I both know a lot of teams simply refuse to spend money.
No argument there, but the Yankees have so much more margin for error because of their financial advantages.

 

And there are some franchises that simply can't afford to shell out money on the free agent market on a regular basis.
