I don't think its a matter of Whitley playing bad right now its a matter of them making mistakes. From what I've heard this is one of the fastest teams that has ever come through Whitley. I think Whitley gets back on the winning track this Friday and wins big against Harlan County.

I believe that Whitley County has to much team speed for Harlan County. Whitley must play better than they did last week or they will struggle with everybody on their schedule. If you don't tackle you can't win.

I will take Harlan Co. in a low scoring game. The Bears "D" has been very solid this season. WC will be a true test for the Bears early in District play.

Whitley's skill people should be the differance. They have a bunch of weapons. I would like to see Wynn get more touches. He is extremely dangerous.

I agree I don't know if Harlan Co can stop Whitley's offense.

Looking at Whitley's scores for the past couple of games there is no reason to think that they are going to win much less compete, but people still pick them; what is that all about?

 

Well the answer seems to be the coach, Jim Black. From accounts he is a winner and will turn this team around. After watching them play three games, there is no doubt he is a good coach, but his team does not have the fire that last years team had.

 

It boils down to turnovers and defense which have been the problems the last two games.

 

No team can go as bad as Whitley has shown the last two weeks after going 12-2 last year.

 

For the First time this year I am going with the Colonels.
