If you get a chance read some of the U's post game quotes. If you can find the Jacory Harris presser after the Georgia Tech game, he has some great quotes that I found really funny. This team has swagger, but I think it's more of a good nature, likable one, which is one reason everyone has started to hop on the bandwagon. Personally, I prefer the "Thug U" were no one liked the Canes. It made winning even sweeter.

 

I've never really thought of Miami as Thug U. It seems like the thugs come along at the end or after the runs of dominance...it's like they ride the coattails of the real stars, and all they have is a cocky attitude that they can't back up on the field.

That's the kind of stuff I want to hear. I kind of think that the U is gonna become a trendy team (like..cough...cough..Florida..cough) for people to jump on the bandwagon now though. I don't want to walk around and see a bunch of people wearing Miami gear now. I've sported mine through the good and the bad, and they're really aren't that many true Canes fans from what I've seen the last 3 or 4 years. Thanks FC, I didn't know if the world was ending or not with all the love people are giving the Canes. :thumb:

 

No love here, just an honest opinion that the Canes have looked very good offensively this year. If there’s one person you don’t have to worry about jumping on the bandwagon it’s me. However, after watching Miami play FSU and GT, they have come a long way from the last couple of years and Harris is looking like one of the Miami QBs of old. Since Ohio State and Miami start a home and home series next year I have a distinct interest in how Miami is doing.

I cannot wait for the Miami-OSU game next year. Maybe I can finally put some of my OSU hate behind me if the Canes win. If Whipple stays as Miami's OC, I think Pryor is really going to have to improve the keep the Buckeyes in that one. This years Canes team isn't nearly as good as next years will be. I completely expect next years Canes to be the best team in the country and to win the title.
