September 15, 200917 yr Author How many do Brady and Montana have? Brady would be at 7. Is that right? Terry Bradshaw would have 8? Has anyone surpassed that?
September 15, 200917 yr Author Jake Delhomme found favor with the football gods for a few years...he's the only QB I've ever seen who could consistently just throw the ball up for grabs and have it work out in his favor. I don't think he's quite as bad as he's played in the last two, but it's only by a small miracle that there haven't been a few more games like those.
September 15, 200917 yr Author Talk about over reaction. Hey, I'm just trying to get the list corrected. All these years...who knew? :idunno:
September 15, 200917 yr Author Do they get rings for conference championships? I don't want to make a mistake and say that Brady has 7 rings, when in reality he'd have 3 rings and 7 championships.
September 15, 200917 yr 12/30, TD, 2 Int? Fairly well? Sure, if you want a QB that can't read the whole field and can't throw a pass downfield to his WR's unless the opponent complete blows a coverage. Seriously, it's all checkdowns and screens and safe passes to his TE Zach Miller (who is very good, BTW). When he goes down the field, everyone in the stadium holds their breath. Why? Because here's the breakdown of possible results... 40% - Russell throws a pass that only Reed Richards could catch. 15% - Russell throws into triple coverage. 10% - Russell throws directly to a defender. 10% - Russell locks onto his receiver from the snap and the defender just waits and breaks on the ball and intercepts it in stride. 25% - He actually completes the pass. He's terrible. Oakland may have enough talent to win a few games regardless, but they're never going to be a serious playoff team with him. It's a big, big problem when you picked a guy with the #1 overall pick and you're still having to spoon feed him like a baby in his third season. He's physical marvel, but he's not an NFL QB. The last pick at the end of the game is really meaningless as they have to take a shot down field with only a few seconds left so he really only has 1 INT. Oaklands WRs had several dropped balls along with RBs. I'd say there at least 7 dropped balls last night from what I saw. Sure I will agree that he isn't as good as what he was first made out to be but he still has time and I am seeing improvement in his game.

I think that most teams get conference championship rings, especially if they lose in the super bowl. Maybe only if they lose in the super bowl. LINK

San Diego's defenders dropped about the same amount of passes as Russell's receivers. Maybe he just doesn't throw a catchable ball...should I add that to the list of why he's not an NFL QB?:sssh:
September 15, 200917 yr Author Giants got one in 2000 as well. That would by my man Kerry Collins's ring. :thumb:
