September 14, 200917 yr Fair enough...Like I said, Nicholas Cage creeps me out. I don't think he can act, and he's just plain creepy. I have tried to watch a couple of movies, because the stories seem great (ie National Treasure). But he's just so darned.....creepy! I'm not really a fan of Cage either. He has done some movies that I liked but I think they would have all been better with plenty of other actors playing the same role such as Lord of War, The Rock, Gone in Sixty Seconds, 8MM, Con Air, Matchstick Men or Bringing out the Dead.
September 14, 200917 yr I can't believe you said that. I haven't seen the movie, so give me a break! The previews looked awesome...until creepo showed up in them.

Matchstick men was an awesome movie, but Cage was NOT a good guy to cast in that role. Besides being creepy, he seems empty...if that makes any sense.

Any movie that involves shady conspiracies guiding history doesn't look awesome. :irked: Also previews do not=movies. Some of the best previews I have ever seen are for the worst movies I have seen.

I don't have to be a genius like you to figure it out. BTW...one of my favorite movies of all time is one most apparently have never seen....That Thing You Do. I assume, then, you're not into the DaVinci Code?

Believe it or not I love That Thing You Do, it is a fun movie. I am not fond of Dan Brown's work at all. I read the aforementioned book and found it lacking. I was enticed to go see Angels and Demons by the little lady and the only thing I took from it was that I want to visit Vatican City.

I figured you'd call it something like "insipid"...that it insulted the evolution of music or something. Or...maybe I'm confusing you with Jim Schue.
