I wasn't there but if I had to guess I would say Beatrice. He lives in Cooper's district and played in the Boone County Pee Wee league and is really fast. I heard he is doing well there.

That's a lot of points in a freshman game.

And attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Grade/Middle School for eight years..... and whose sister also attended IHM and but went to St. Henry as "she" didn't want to play football, as St. Henry doesn't have a football team! :thumb:

 

She BTW was/is a very smart young lady as she was on the IHM Academic Team that went to the State Middle School Governors Cup in her eight grade year and is now attending Georgetown College.

 

Yes, #24 Bobby Beatrice and if he is like his older sister, he is a star in the classroom also. Indeed, the young man is a player, as are a lot of the young "Seniors in Training" at CovCath this year!

I knew Dad went to CovCath and I knew that he was on the 87 team, but I always thought young Bobby got his speed and great football ability from his Mom! :D

Will agree with you on that one TOG But what I was trying to say is that students go to Cov Cath from out of district for many reasons. I have read other posts that proclaim the posibilities of how good other teams would be if their players stayed in this district or that district. I am mearly saying that while young Bob may be attending Cov Cath to play football, he may have attended anyway as his father is a grad and understands the strength a good eduation can give a young man. I live out of district and when my son gets high school age I want him going to Cov Cath!

Who cares :thumb:...I understand that you were trying to make a point about living in Cooper's district, yet they have a catholic background and is expected to go to a catholic school....but who cares. CovCath will always get catholic or non-catholic players from all over NKY, thats life. This thread was about football. Congrats to Cov Cath Frosh on the enormous victory over the Camels.
