Wayne just did not have the goods this year like I thought. They returned a lot of players but I feel most peaked last year. I hope the best for the cardinals because we always enjoy playing them, but I Feel they could be in for a long season if they don't find their rhythm.

Too much Watts and Roark!

Wayne will not be at full strength. Friday night there were as many in street clothes as uniforms.

 

It dosn't matter who is hurt, this will be a War. These Schools are big rivals in Basketball and it will carry over to the Football Field. Every time they played (several years ago now) it was a War. Hats off to the McCreary Staff for putting Wayne Co. back on the schedule.

For those saying too much Watts, Wayne has a back that can take over a game on his own also. These 2 guys may put on an unbelievable show.

Wayne has 6 kids that will not be elgible till district. 4 of those 6 are MAJOR players. I have no idea if the QB will play this week, but they have lots of injuries that is hurtung them right now. The middle linebacker is out for 6 weeks with a broken bone in the foot, which is a hard hit for them. Check out the sidelines friday night and you will see how many not in pads. I still think we will beat you without them.

A lot of those who will not be in pads are 7 or 8 basketball players who have decided to play football and don't have enough practices in to play yet (is that correct?). I know #44 is out with the leg injury and it is my understanding that the QB #1 will be able to play in the 2nd half of Fridays game if the coach lets him. That is the only 2 impact players that I am aware of that is out for Fridays game please correct me if I am wrong. I am looking for an exciting and hard hitting game it should be a fun one. I don't know about everyone else but that has a nice ring to it and is IMO the most deservingly named field in the country.
