BTW, the Thursday game is 3-3 this year I think (unless you include UAB tonight that would make the home team 4-3). Not exactly a lock anymore. They shouldn't have covered after fumbling 5 times, but WVU was definitely the play tonight. Colorado is a terrible team, but even Florida would look mediocre if they fumbled 5 times and lost 4.

Colorado also turned it over and missed a few field goals. It was just two bad teams out there.

I'm still sticking w/ it. I'll take my chances that top 25 teams don't blow 24 point leads at home and that bad teams don't get meaningless TD's w/ 3 seconds left too often. It probably won't win 80% like last year, but I'd bet its still good. I wonder how many home dogs haven't covered over the last 2 years? It seems to me the favorites don't cover, but still win at home. As a side note. It was golden before last year too, we just started talking about it on here last year. It's been good for the 4 years that I've been following betting.

Is that really a fluke? Colorado was certainly not a fluke cover either. If they play tomorrow, Colorado +17 is the play again. The fact that WVU was about to cover was a fluke itself.

If these two teams played every Thursday for the rest of the season and the spread is +17, I'm taking West Virginia every Thursday for the rest of the season.

I don't get all the attacks from you lately :confused: We have a good little gambling group in this thread each month (time for an October one, btw) and we always support each other. I don't understand why you think it's great when guys lose money. If you went 10-0 this week, we would all be lining up to congratulate you. We might kid with you a little, but we would all be happy for you. I was 10-3 or something last week and you went through 100 posts to see if you could show that I was lying. No disrespect intended, but I just don't get it? :idunno:

Look, you can look at it however you want. I'm just telling you how I've started the week off good most weeks in the last 4 years. Maybe Georgia Tech let off the gas after they were up 24 and when they got down they still figured out they were better so they won the game. You can have Colorado they are terrible. I never said a WVU cover wouldn't have been a lucky one. But they were up 18 w/ 4 seconds left so it's a bit of fluke they didn't cover. Just start taking to road teams on Thursdays if you don't like the home teams. It's not that tough.
October 2, 200916 yr Author I didn't get to play the game, as I was working, but knew the spread. I was playing poker and the game was on and I happened to see last score and thought a lot of people had a change of emotion, as it moved both side and total. Hate that for you guys, but regroup tonight and this weekend!
