AP Polls All Classes 8-26-09

I think we will be better able to rate Danville after this week against Franklin Co. and better yet after they play Corbin the next game. My hope is they show vast improvement which depends on getting some players back 100%. I would imagine that #7 ranking has something to do with past history. Things should be clearer in a few weeks.

 

I understand that history plays a part of where Danville is ranked, and to an extent I agree with that, however when BGP put them at #4 preseason and Monroe at #9 I have to admit it rubbed me the wrong way, But I don't put too much stock in polls and like you said things will be a whole lot clearer in a few weeks...:thumb:

I noticed the same thing. It looks to me like there might be a "renegade" voter on the loose. Maybe there were 14 votes in the upper classes as well but the 14th vote went to a team that isn't even in the top 10? I think someone has some 'splainin to do.

 

I would think if there were 14 voters that they would all vote in each class. Maybe one voter decided to boycott class 4A-6A for some reason or maybe it’s a conspiracy. :idunno:

For this year? I think it is. It hasn't moved ahead to this week, but last week's scores were all there.
