August 28, 200917 yr I will add this about Whirlpool. I firmly believe as do most in this area that this day was coming no matter what the economy did. They have slowly reduced the work force and every time the union contract came up they threaten to do it if the Union didn't sign. I think the economy in the shape it's in just sped the process up.
