I agree that the Neeley girl has talent, but not the quality of talent that Gayheart has. Gayheart is ranked 1st in the 8th region and is only a sophmore.......one thing is certain, Owen County girls basketball will be very entertaining to watch over the next few years

Neeley is not the caliber of Gayheart but she is a better outside shooter than any player on Owen's team including Gayheart.

That may be true but if Neeley and Gayheart are in together I think we will be watching it RAIN!

Rule 13

Hopefully the parents and fans will not create any jealousy or controversy between Neeley and Gayheart. They are both great kids and have a lot of potential. They can be great compliments to each other and if they figure that out they will have something special together for the next 3 years.

Exactly!:thumb:

My impressions from last year lead me to believe that Gayheart will back up her pre-season rankings with her play this year. Quick and strong, she has the tools to lead Owen in the 8th Region.

What is the pre-season scrimmage schedule for the Lady Rebels?

I believe they are playing at the Scott County scrimmages this Saturday. There is a thread about that on the board with times etc.

Agreed. There are no other players as good as Gayhart on the team and none other who have worked as hard or put in the hours she has put in but there are other very good players on the team. If Owen's opponents think that all they have to do is stop Gayhart they are mistaken.

good point, but if you stop any team's point guard then you have done a good job at stopping the team. Right?:ylsuper:

Not in a public forum.
