I was telling you what I thought while I watched the game...one time...I mean, i've got a career and a family...I can't break down film....twice of a preseason game...you obviously know much more about the Giants than me...and the entire MNF crew that thought the WR were bad...but hey, we will see how the season plays out. I'm nowhere near the Giants expert you are. I was just saying what I thought I saw while I watched the game.

 

The MNF crew didn't say they were bad at all, they said someone needs to step up. And that someone isn't going to show a lot in the preseason. It's the preseason...most offenses and defenses are very vanilla.

1st half Manningham was running around like someone playing flag football with no huddles. Couldn't tell you the specific play...like I said, I think their WR's are very avg at best and it will hurt them this year.

Manningham made one or two bad plays, but considering he's only in his 2nd year and he barely played last year, that is going to happen. He also made some very good plays. The Giants wide receivers were not out there consistently running bad routes like you implied though.

 

I'd rank Eli in the top 10 QB's at least.

I don't want to highjack my own thread, but for the QB discussion - I think Brady, Peyton Manning and Warner are better QB's than Eli. Who else would you put up there? Brees? Rivers?

I would say Brady, Peyton, Warner for certain...after that, I think they are pretty close. I'd probably go Ben, Brees, Rivers and then Eli. Those 4 are pretty interchangeable. McNabb??? No way I put Rivers above Eli. Eli hasn't had as good of numbers, but like Gruden said the other day, the stats don't mean anything. He plays every game (71 straight starts) and he wins. He's been to the playoffs every year and he's won a super bowl in 4 years as a starter. What more can you ask?

I think he's probably top 7-8 for sure. He could argueably be about #5, depending on what you're basing it on.

Andre Woodson might as well start looking for a new job. He didn't play last week and this week he is 2-10 with an INT so far.
