July 24, 200917 yr Well when I come down to campus you'll have to let me know the secret :sssh: No problem. Actually, maybe I had better just keep it to myself.:thumb:

July 26, 200917 yr It's going to be tough for UF to repeat, Saturday night in Death Valley against LSU will be extremely tough. I can't wait for that game though I've coached with a couple of guys from UK and talked to them about the different places they have played. They all said the atmosphere at LSU especially night games was 2nd to none. One of them told a story about a kid that looked like he was 5 flipped them off coming out of the tunnel:lol: That will be a great one. LSU's Freshman QB is so fast! Anxious to see if he starts. I think Fla's experience will win that one though.

When it comes to speed, only LSU rivals UF IMO, it will be a very interesting game, I don't think Russell Shepherd can beat UF though, he's too young and from what I've seen he's not much a passer yet. I think the way to beat UF will be to chew the clock like Alabama did last season for the first three quarters, it will be tough, but this would be the only regular season blemish for the Gators if they are to have one IMO.

Also if Shepard starts over Jefferson I think LSU has little chance to beat UF. I really like Shepard but I think Jefferson is the better QB at this point in time. I think that RS will get a few plays a game, and maybe some packages just for him.

I'm going to take Georgia in week one to end OK State's championship chances. I told Spikes that a few days ago.
August 2, 200917 yr Author ^^ Cats, I think it could happen, Georgia will be a lot better than most think. Caleb King is going to be great-at the UF/Georgia game, I met Knowshon Moreno's brother Jayshon-you can't make that up, and he said he thought Caleb King would be better than his brother, couple that with a great Offensive Line, AJ Green and a better D and Georgia will win 8-9 games next year IMO.

Offensive Line is one of the main reasons I'm taking them to beat OK State. Georgia returns all five starters off what was a talented but very green O-line last year. And you know how good I think Caleb King will be.
September 6, 200917 yr But, Bradford, Gresham, Murray, Brown and Co. are electric as well. They lose 3 starters from arguably the best O-line in the country (I'd go with Bama's last year though), but this is Oklahoma their line will be fine. Offensively I don't think it's close between the two, and that is considering the fact that I think McCoy gives you a little more than Bradford. Also Oklahoma's defense got better and better last year. Look at how they played UF. Holding them to 24 tells you alot about how far their defense came, because.....how many SEC teams did that? None. Oklahoma should be the cream of the crop in the Big 12. I think only an injury to Bradford stands between them and what should be a return trip to the title game. I actually feel better about them going to the title than I do UF, and I that is only because of schedule. Oklahoma plays some good teams, but I think they will have too much Offense for anyone they play. UF plays a few teams that could potentially slow them down offensively. Still I would say that I think UF has a 95% chance of winning the title. I just don't see anyone that could beat them this year unfortunately. Bradford goes down but he had nothing to do with BYU going 70+yds when they had to for the win. BYU had 4 new starters on the Oline and had 329yds in the air with 2 TD's!
September 6, 200917 yr I know I am way late on this, but I just found this thread so I figured I would chime in. Conference Winners ACC-Va Tech. Big East-West Virginia. Big 10-Penn State.
