What is your idea of success this season?

Don't count out Illinois so quickly. They could be nasty.

Out of the “should wins” Illinois is probably the most likely upset, but I don’t believe Juice has enough of a supporting cast, especially defensive, to reach nasty status.

I actually think that ND may catch Notre Dame off guard this year. But, only if ND is under the radar a little bit when they play.

Should Win

UCF- Enough said

Don't let them hear you say that. They'll get all upset. :scared:

The Canes have to play them in the Erector Set this year. You know, if you stomp hard enough there, you can drown out their band. :D

Sorry I meant to say that I think that Notre Dame can catch USC off guard this year. Once again I was at work and in a hurry. My bad.

I think they will have a very good offense. That would be enough in the Big 10 to be one of the 3 or so better teams in the league. I think they are a sleeper to win the Big 10. I think that OSU and PSU can only realistically take a step back this season with all they lost. It may be a small step back, but it could be enough for the Illini to sneak in.

Ohio State should have a very successful season in 2009. Pryor is the best athlete, yes he is, in the Big 10, and one of the top athletes in the country. The running game should be solid, even though we lost Beanie, Herron and company will be solid. The passing game with Pryor should be better than 2008, which will skyrocket this team. I like for Pryor to go over 2,700 yards passing, and 24 TD's. He will also have a great year on his feet, I see home over 650 yards, and 8-10 TD's. Our WR's will be solid I think. Small will be the #1 guy and he should have a solid year. The defense will be as solid as it always is. That's one thing about OSU, we always have a solid defense year in and year out. I love Kurt Coleman, and he will have an All American type year IMO.

SHOULD WIN

Navy

Toledo

Illinois

Indiana

Wisconsin

Purdue

Minnesota

New Mexico State

Iowa

Michigan

CAN WIN

USC

Penn State

I'm going with 11-1, and a good shot at 12-0.

I'll take Arrelious Benn as the best athlete in the Big 10. Big, fast, physical reciever. Pryor is still a great athlete. He is going to have to be consistent in the passing game though.
