July 6, 200917 yr Author Notable Players missing/Snubs: Ian Kinsler-Rangers, Alex Rodriguez-Yankees, Vladmir Guerrero-Angels, Jimmy Rollins-Phillies, Alfonso Soriano-Cubs, Alex Rios-Blue Jays, Manny Ramirez-Dodgers, Juan Pierre-Dodgers, Elvis Andrus-Rangers. I don't see how Hamilton gets in the All-Star Game, he hasn't played in 2 months. How did Vlad get snubbed? Vladimir Guerrero #27 DH 2009 STATS BA HR RBI OBP SLG .285 3 18 .312 .394 Read the bolded, Vlad Guerrero is notably missing because he made 8 straight All-Star games from 99-07. That makes him a player of note missing from the All-Star Rosters.
July 6, 200917 yr Author AL has a good team once again. The National League's isn't too shabby either. I like their pitching staff.
July 6, 200917 yr Which of these guys is the least deserving to be an All-Star? All players have 7 or more wins. Player A: 102.2 IP, 4.30 ERA, 53 K, 36 BB, 1.35 WHIP wakefield Player B: 103.2 IP, 3.21 ERA, 95 K, 39 BB, 1.33 WHIP w. rodriguez Player C: 116.1 IP, 2.94 ERA, 51 K, 28 BB, 1.27 WHIP blackburn Player D: 114.0 IP, 3.32 ERA, 101 K, 43 BB, 1.32 WHIP wainright
July 6, 200917 yr How did Votto get snubbed? He would be leading the league in batting if he had the ABs. Cueto deserves it too. That logic can be slighted just for the fact that with the additional AB's he could have entered a slump or anything. Deserving or not it's a fan based vote so maybe Reds fans should have helped out a little more. Woulddn't have hurt if the Reds, or the entire MLB, marketed their younger stars better. :thumb: I think Owing should of made it because he is a pitcher and hits home runs thats pretty amazing. July 6, 200917 yr How did Votto get snubbed? He would be leading the league in batting if he had the ABs. Cueto deserves it too. Snubbed? How the heck did he get snubbed? Which of the first basemen should he have replaced? He's missed 30 games and in no way should be put ahead of any of the other 4 simply because he'd be leading in batting if he had enough at bats. Compare their numbers and please tell me who he should replace: Albert Pujols 83 Games .336 Avg. 31 HR 82 RBI Ryan Howard 78 Games .252 Avg 20 HR 60 RBI Prince Fielder 82 Games .313 Avg 22 HR 76 RBI Adrian Gonzalez 81 Games .263 Avg 24 HR 51 RBI Joey Votto 50 Games .364 Avg 10 HR 41 RBI Unless the NL wants to carry 5-6 firstbasemen then Votto doesn't belong on the team. Had he been healthy and played 70+ games then his overall numbers might have warranted it.

Who goes ahead of him, Kevin Millwood (8-5, 2.80 ERA, 74 K, 39 BB, 1.24 WHIP)?
July 6, 200917 yr born2reign, it is Wakefield and Millwood's stats are most certainly deserving. Suprising that the other 3 (Wandy Rodriguez, Nick Blackburn, and Adam Wainwright) have such better numbers than the old knuckleballer.
