Last season, Hedo's was 4.8, Carter's 4.7. I stand corrected in that their assists totals are similar but I am not sure that Carter's come off a pick and roll with a post player.

Sheed wouldn't be a bad pick up, he's able to rebound and step out and shoot as well, if I am the Magic and I'm not able to get Carlos Boozer, I go hard for Rasheed.

I wonder what he is asking.

 

Was suppose to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 million, I'm thinking he would settle for 6 on a contender.

 

If the Magic pulls this off then they are 5x better than they were last season, and will not have to rely on nailing 20 threes a game just to win, but will still have four capable three point shooting guys on the floor, + keep their size that they had going for them last year.

 

On paper. Who knows how this bunch would have to play offensively. Plus, Sheed could be a headache with SVG and Howard.

IMO the teams that want to win are revealing that and the teams that are playing for rebuilding are showing that. The teams that really want to win next year and have showed that are the Spurs, Cavs, Magic with Vince and actively going after Sheed, and the Lakers who sold some draft picks for extra cash so they could resign Odom and Ariza, and hopefully get back Phil. I would take resigning them to a few rookies.

 

This would be a good move for the Magic, but would change their dynamics and they would play very different than last year.

 

No doubt. Cavs will look the most different next year, IMO. They already have Shaq, and IMO, will move Varajao for a starting SG, and sign a PF with the full MLE.

Carter has been a starter for his entire career, Turkoglu has not. He was a nice role player for the Kings and Spurs. He only became a full-time starter 3 years ago and his APG have went up ever since.

No Boozer, Detroit will be hard to beat for him, IMO.

Sheed is who they should get. He can still space the floor and is still an adequate big man.

I'm still not sold on Boozer being a key piece to any serious title contender. He puts up great numbers but relies too much on his jump shot. I may be in the monirity, but I look for him to get injured shortly after getting paid.

 

He has only played over 70 games in 4 of his 7 seasons and 2 of those were with Cleveland when he was working off his 2nd round deal and trying to get paid.

I think Boozer committed to stay with Utah for another year along with Okur so he's out of the equation, but I think a lot of teams would be happy to have him.

I think Turk was looking for 10 million so if they were to get Wallace for 6 that would free up a little money - not much to do with, but every bit helps I suppose.

If I was Wallace and my main goal was winning a championship I think Id go to Cleveland. He would be a perfect fit there, but I'm sure that it would be hard to afford him! Being in Orlando would be scary too though!
