Amber had a total of 66 walks the last two years (42 this year).

She went 1-1 with 12 walks in the region. 15 total walks for district and region. She was intentionally walked 3 times with bases loaded and scored 56 runs this year. Don't know how many times she scored off walks. I'm sure quite a few.

Basically, she was walked at least once per game the past 2 years. That is respect. I am sure that frustrated her, but a baserunner is a baserunner.

Did her team advance to the state tourney? How did she do there?

No. Ashland beat Rowan County in the 16th Region Championship.

Amber went deep at University of Kentucky in the Easst / West Allstar game this opast weekend. She had a double off the wall in center and hit an absolute BOMB over the 210 foot sign in center.

She will now go on to represent the 16th region in the Ky. / Tn. games in about a week in Tenn.
