MOUNT STERLING — George Rogers Clark’s successful season came to an end Friday night with a 3-2 loss to Montgomery County in the finals of the 10th Region Tournament at Reffitt Field.

 

Amy Haggard, Kelsey Mitchell and Shamy Williams were named to the all-tournament team from GRC.

The first round matchup with North Laurel will definitely have some future stars as 2 of the NL players who made the all region team are 8th graders. Amazing that young kids like this can play so well so early in their HS careers. Should be an EXCELLENT first round matchup!!
