Who wins the 10th region and why?

I am going with the Thorobreds, too much experience, deep pitching, a tough schedule and Coach Whitaker.

They are Harrison.

I would assume most everyone would go with Harrison, including me. From what I've seen Campbell County and Scot are really the only teams that could challenge Harrison.

A lot of it will depend on the draw again. If Harrison defeats Nicholas County, HC could have to go through Scott/Campbell Loser, GRC and Scott Campbell Winner. That would be a tough draw. I look for Nicholas County to compete well inthe 10th Region Tournament as well.

Very true. Either way, Scott or Campbell County would be a very trough first round draw for Harrison County.

As of right now Harrison County is and should be the favorite to win the 10th. Right now I'd have Scott right behind them in challenging for the title.

Isn't the draw a blind draw. It doesn't give an advantage to the district winners over the district runner up does it, or does it?

Pretty sure that district winners face runners-up from other districts.

"2) The pairings for the regional tournament shall be made in

accordance to the following procedure.

 

a) In a regional tournament with participants from four districts,

the district winners will draw for positions 1, 3, 5 and 7 in a

standard eight-team bracket. Each corresponding runner-up

team will draw for a position in the opposite bracket."

I believe however you can't play a team from same district in 1st round. Therefore Scott can't play Campbell in first round.

Also they can't play in the 2nd round either. The only time district opponents can play one another is in the regional final...
