Harrison County hires Mark Carroll

Featured Replies

Mark Carroll is the new Coach at Harrison County. I know he was DC at LCA 2 years ago and then at East Jessamine last year. Anyone have any additional information on him or thoughts about how he will do at Harrison County. What does he teach?

I had the opportunity to meet him today and he'll be a "great" addition to the Cynthiana community!! He met with both Middle School and High School players today and seems enthusiastic about getting started! Would like to wish him the best of luck!

He teaches special education. He is a good friend of mine. I have tried to several years for him to join me. He will put in the work to make Harrison County successful. I wish him nothing but the best!! Until he plays my team.

Good luck Mark, all of us on Pond Creek are proud of you.

I'll second that motion, Good Luck Mark. You have a lot of fans here in Belfry pulling for you.

Where is he from at what else is his background on the gridiron?

Congrats Coach Carrol... FastFightFinish has really talked him up and working for Rains you know he understands and has picked up on how to take a program and turn it into a consistent winner. Maybe Harrison now has a coach that is interested in sticking around.

What kind of offensive background does Coach Carrol have? Belfry is smashmouth, LCA was spread.

Another CU alum jumping into the ring! Good job Mark and good luck Breds!

Dark Horse- CU is very well represented in high school football.
