Nevermind, just realized that I posted the same stats as Super did to start the thread.

That's ok,good stats needs a second look.:thumb:

Not much of a "homecoming" start to the season for Griffey, with only 3 extra base hits and 3 RBI in 56 AB's. And they continue to bat him in the 3 hole, which I just don't get. He must get it written in his contract that no matter how poorly he hits, he's not allowed to be dropped to the bottom of the order. :sssh:

1973 .211 6 HRs 25 RBIs

Can Junior beat that?

What's the 1973 about? What am I missing? Was that his dad's rookie year numbers?

Ahh, I see your curiosity is piqued. You're a smart guy. Figure it out.

Think of Junior and his legacy and how he might go out.

Willie Mays?

Willie Mays?

You never cease to amaze me.

It is continually being lessened. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if he gives Mays' '73 numbers a run for it. Sometimes you have to know when to say enough is enough. Like Brett Favre, for instance. :sssh:

He'll definitely beat that this year.
