April 20, 200917 yr In the begining of his carear he wasn't a very good hitter. I think he won the Silver Slugger award last year, so thought I'd go for most recent He's actually won it twice in 2006 and 2008. Last year was a little bit of an aberration with his .337 batting average, he's usually in the .240 range. He only hit .151 when he won the Silver Slugger in 2005 but he did hit 6 homeruns.

April 23, 200917 yr Kerry Wood for one. I'd like to see Hoffpauer get a shot at first, but they still have a lot of dough tied up in Lee. I'd give Lee to the All-Star break but it will be hard to keep Hoffpauer's bat out of the lineup
April 23, 200917 yr The Milton Bradley has been a horrible signing from Day 1. I did hear an interview with him on a Chicago station though, and he handled himself very nicely. He said he was grateful to play in Chicago and talked about how excited he was to play for the Cubs. As a Reds fan, it almost made me sick. As a Cubs fan, I'd like it.
