WHile he could end up there the announcement was a bit premature. He has not signed anything.

I don't buy it. No AD in the country turns down a big name for a completely fresh Rookie. Just no way.

In his defense, GT's sources generally know more than a "hunch". And they are usually dead on.

IMO this is the best X can do.

 

Don't get me wrong it's a top notch program, and a better program than a majority of the "BCS" programs, but to a head coach X may be a better program, but it's not the better job. They unfortunately can't compete with the big boys in terms of resources or money.
