Well I will definitely concede that Locke is probably the smoke monster.

Locke is not the smoke monster IMO. Locke is dead. The guy appearing to be Locke was the guy from the beginning of tonights episode IMO. He's the guy who said he would find a loophole to kill Jacob.

You could still be right. The guy from the beginning could be the smoke monster for all we know.

I have no idea what I just watched. And quite frankly, I'm disappointed with what I saw. It might not be that way if there were an episode next week, but it doesn't sit well with me that that is what I've got to think on for 8 months.

The show is always got you thinking.

I'm guessing when Jacob said, "They are coming" that he means the losties. They are probably coming back. And that's why Locke (or the other guy who is in Locke's body or whatever) kicked him into the fire. I think they will be fighting for Jacobs side, and Locke (or whoever is in Locke's body...or looks like Locke) is the other side.
