April 6, 200917 yr I don't think Cal and Miller are related. they are from the same high school in the Pittsburgh area though. I was told it was like 2nd or 3rd cousins. Either way they have been very good friends for a long, long time...

April 7, 200917 yr If it's Mack, I think it will be a mistake... I disagree. Coach Mack has done a wonderful job at XU and is well deserving of the opportunity. I've heard he will be meeting with Bobinski with in the next couple of days to discuss his future with the program.

How often do you see an assistant coach take over a team that will likely be top 10 the following season? I'm sure it has happened. It doesn't happen very often though. I'll be surprised if the choice is not a current D1 head coach.

Possibly, but they know it can work b/c it already did. They have been a good program for longer than Miller's tenure.
