April 3, 200917 yr Well, I mean...it is what it is...Can't blame Cal for trying to get rid of BCG's poor choices. Cal is going to worry about protecting his job, program's future, etc. If any of us took over a company, wouldn't you trim fat that could potentionally cost you your job. I believe in Darwinism.. True, but taking a kid's right to a free and great college education is a big difference from taking someone's job who is prepared for that job. None of these kids would have came to UK in the first place had they known they would have to "tryout" for their scholarship in year 2 or 3. It's not right and the bigger picture of the entire situation is being forgotten.
April 3, 200917 yr I heard the same thing....... Which is? You had to know that at this "practice" he was evaluating on who could play in his system and who couldn't.

If they were good enough to get a scholly at UK, I'd say odds are any of them could catch on at a mid-major on a full ride like a WKU, or Murray, EKU etc.

April 3, 200917 yr I agree, I think that if any of these guys are asked to leave, they can catch on somewhere else and I am pretty sure the coaching staff will help them the best they can, to keep it from looking too bad.
April 3, 200917 yr I would say if any of them were to "leave" UK would help them find a scholarship opportunity somewhere else.
April 3, 200917 yr I guess you guys are right, out with the old, in with the new. We gotta win now right?
April 3, 200917 yr Which is? You had to know that at this "practice" he was evaluating on who could play in his system and who couldn't. Of course, I just think that would suck from a player's standpoint. I would think, or hope I should say, that most of the players already know who fits in and who doesn't.

On the bolded part I agree 100%. On the next part...these are all 18-22 year olds...who wore the UK jersery...I am sure they all think they fit.
April 3, 200917 yr With Tucker, Euton, Ross-Miller, and Vilarino de-commiting, How many schollies does that leave UK with? And does this mean available schollies for Wall, Cousins..etc.13...:sssh:
April 3, 200917 yr On another thread....Zollo has talked to Coach Cal and he is still committed to UK.
