College World Series, Mens Final Four, Womens Final Four, BCS game since 2005. How many of those has big brother been too.....ever? You are correct about another thing, Tom Jurich is the man, with the exception of "Kraggers". I am a huge Jurich fan and UofL has a lot to be proud of HOWEVER tryinig to compare the Big East to the SEC in football and baseball is a joke:lol: You think UofL is that good in baseball or football if they had to go through Fla, Geo, Tenn, LSU, Bama, Aub etc?

When UoL has to beat Fla, Geo + Tenn just to get to their confrence championship game to play a Bama or LSU before looking for a BCS game then you can compare apples to apples.... until then they can take the WVU/SF road which isn't even close to being close!

Not all teams have the same shot like you say though. There is a HUGE difference in the road UK football would have to take to get to a BCS game compared to the road UofL would take. Not even close! Georgia would've been at the top of the Big East, and most any other conference you'd put them in this past year. Tennessee has had it's down years though. :idunno:

Because neither has one? Nope...sorry. Big Brother does have a national title in football. So, you can have your Orange Bowl win. I'd rather have a national championship...even if it is a co-national champion.

April 7, 200917 yr As a U of L fan, I can tell you that I'm not scared one bit. I really don't care who Kentucky or any other school hires for a coach. I hope all Kentucky schools do well. My dream is to see Louisville and Kentucky play each other for a national championship. I would like to see UK and Louisville in the top ten every year and throw WKU in the Top 25 and I would be happy. I pull for all Kentucky teams unless they are playing UK of course and it would be pretty cool to have a UK-Louisville championship.:thumb:
April 7, 200917 yr The bottom line in this whole thing is UofL fans think their program is better and have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to UK because they here it so much with the masses of UK fans. UK fans think they have the better program and get tired of the stereotypes put on them because of a percentage of their many fans that are irrational. In the end both programs have great things going on, great history, great fans and some ididoic fans too! Neither will bow down to the other and that's what makes the rivalry great! I have a great time with my UofL friends fighting back and forth. I've actually coached a kid on UofL's football and baseball team so I try to like them when they aren't playing UK...it's hard to break away from my roots though:) Both have a lot to be proud of and both have some annoying fans. It's hard to compare the programs because it is apples to oranges (no pun inteneded) in the end.
