Think I might stop down for a few minutes myself to see this one, as it should be an interesting battle. NCC's first game (and apparently the only one against Bellevue this season per the khsaa website?), so I assume Conner gets the start. If so, you'd probably have to make NCC the favorite, but it should be a great game.

I will say NC, but would not be surprised to see the Tigers pull out a W.

An important game indeed but Connor just got out of basketball and probably not ready to throw just yet.

I like the Tigers in this one. I'm sure Jeff Schulkins (NCC COACH) will not take this team lightly. Bellevue is coming off a win vs Villa on Monday. Not much of a game as Villa is very Young. Should be very interesting.

Should be a very exciting game. Last season, the Breds pulled out the victory in a thriller, I expect the same type of game this time around.

I left this game in the 6th and believe the score was 8-4 in favor of NCC. As expected, Conner pitched for NCC and looked solid. NCC hit the ball very well. Anyone have the final details?

I think NCC won 11-4. I got a text from someone at the game that gave the score and said Connor gave up 1 earned run and didn't look real sharp on the mound but went 4-5 with 3 - 2 baggers 1 single.

He may not have been in mid-season form, but he looked pretty solid, had decent velocity, and held a pretty nice-hitting Bellevue team at bay for the most part.

No, played CF while I was there. Believe (but not positive) the catcher's (first) name was Jake.

connor looked in mid season form too me. he pitched great. 80 some odd pitches, for a few days out of basketball? NCC hit well. was better team on this night. good luck to both teams.

I look to see NCC take this one. It's a good idea to intentionally walk Jones, he can be that one player who can impact a game by two or three AB's. I know it's a team game, but if the scores are low Jones can open the game up. He's a great ballplayer!
