I would LOVE the Cougars to do well! It would mean so much to that community! But, the same applies to Central as well. Oh...the dilemma! :ohbrother:

We stop in Leitchfield for lunch on our way to Murray Sate (via the WKy Parkway) and stop there for dinner on our way back home on Sunday. Really nice people at the many different fast food restaurants we have eaten at....and they are very proud of their school and teams.....

 

 

Wish there was a local restaurant that we could eat at....instead of the fast food places....

I'll find some for you. I know there's a chinese buffet in the mall that my sister really likes. There's a decent mexican restaurant too. When she gets home from Rhode Island, I'll find out what the names are.

No problem. I don't get the as often as I like. Back in the day, they had Carolyn's Townhouse restaurnat, but it's been gone quite a few years now. There's a good little restaurant in Clarkson, though. And if you come up 62 from Leitchfield toward Elizabethtown, the best burger place EVER. It's in Stephensburg, and it's called Laker's Drive-In.

 

In Leitchfield, though, there's Sandy's. It's on Mill Street...which is 62

This is the worst game i have seen Adair Co. play. This was a terriable game to watch as a Adair Co. fan. The way they played today they didn't even deserve to be in the Sweet 16. But i have to tip my hat to Grayson Co. they came out and played hard and hit the offenseive boards hard and just out played Adair co. in every part of the game and in the stat book. Embarrassing loss for the Indians but it was a great season for Adair Co.

Adair really disappointed today. They played with no energy, no emotion, and simply got outworked by a team that wanted it more. Good season for the Indians though but for those of us seeing them for the first time this year it left us shaking our heads.

Adair really came out flat footed and never got a good pace. Grayson really crashed the boards and got a ton of second looks at the basket. Looked like Adair was asleep or just shocked by the atmosphere not sure what it was. Both teams had wonderful fan support!

 

They can't use that as an excuse -- most of this same bunch were starters two years ago, and won a first-round game.

 

I'm very shocked with how Adair played. That team in no way, shape or form resembled the team I saw play so well in the 5th Region tournament. When AC missed something like their first four or five FTs, I knew something was up.

 

Great turnout by the Grayson crowd. Their players seemed to feed off it a great deal. They don't look like a team that can get after you on defense, that's for sure, but they sure do. Did a great job keeping Fudge under wraps, and keeping pressure on the outside shooters.

Wow 74 out of 80 people on the contest thread picked Adair over Grayson. I don't think anyone got all four games right for Wed. Maybe one person got them right but I think all six who picked Grayson also had Hazard.

I am Grayson and Hazard while looking through a blind eye....haha. 1-1
