March 14, 200917 yr Here is a look at the NIT field.... nitology Can you believe it!! The University of Kentucky Wildcats are prejected as a 4th seed in the NIT. Never thought I'd ever see something like that. Sad times in Big Blue Land.
March 14, 200917 yr I think the last time UK played a NIT game was back in 1979, 30 years ago when they loss to Clemson 68-67. And then back in 1976 UK won the NIT by beating Niagara 67-61,Kansas St.81-78,Providence 79-78,and for the Championship,UNC-Charlotte 71-67.
