Cottingham is a JV player who will occasionally sub at the varsity level.

Just wondering because I didn't remember them being on the roster last year when the regional tournament was played at Champion Window Field out in Florence.

 

I just assumed that they were exchange students because of their last name and not seeing them on last year's post-season roster.

No problem. They both played for the JV team last year.

 

And you probably don't remember many Ryle names from the regional tourney last year since we didn't make it out of districts. :lol: :irked:

That would be it. LOL. I remember now that they played two games at Champion Window Field during the season but not during the regionals. LOL. Can't believe I forgot that because I worked almost every high school game there.

Rick is also helping Rick Sr. coach a Good 14 yr old AABC team with SK, Beechwood, Scott and HCHS futures on it.

My Apologies on the Cottingham error, and although I don't doubt your sources. I am fairly certain Stayton is on the team, and if I'm not mistaken I think junior Dave Brueggaman (sp?) also made the team, he's coming off of Tommy John Surgery.

For the record, he is a varsity-level catcher. There aren't many catchers in NKY with his arm.
