March 10, 200917 yr I still think he should have won. He did win the USBWA POY. Wonder how many have won that award, but didn't win conferance POY?

Calathes, Smith, Varnardo and Meeks respresented the SEC. Jodie Meeks, Kentucky Terrence Williams, Louisville Tyreke Evans, Memphis. Nick Calathes, Florida Toney Douglas, Florida State. Lester Hudson, Tennessee-Martin Jack McClinton, Miami Tyler Smith, Tennessee Jermaine Taylor, Central Florida. Jarvis Varnado, Mississippi State.
March 10, 200917 yr So, what do you take from that? That's there is little, to no talent surrounding the two players.
March 10, 200917 yr If I heard correctly, this is the first time in SEC history that a team without a winning conference record placed two players on the 1st team. Makes you wonder how the heck a team with two first team all conference players can't even finish league play with a winning record.....in a down year for the SEC  :irked::irked: :madman:
March 10, 200917 yr That's there is little, to no talent surrounding the two players. Good enough. However, they did play some decent basketball early on. I still say way to many in house issues ruined the season.
