Just 20 free throws for a whole game? Only one of 3 things could of happened in this one: 1.Must of been a lot of shooting from the outside 2.not a whole lot of defense going on 3.the refs left their whistles in the locker room Sounds like it was a great atmosphere and game to be at. The first half I think there was a combined 5 fouls called.

 

The second half started with five fouls on both teams in the third quarter.

Must of found the whistles in the locker room at halftime. HAHA.

Roark had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Raiders, who outrebounded Lincoln 27-25. Spurlin led the Patriots with seven boards.

 

Lincoln outshot McCreary 42 percent to 40 percent from the field. The Patriots were 10-for-27 from 3-point range; the Raiders were 7-for-21.

 

Watts finished with 21 points, including two pressure-packed free throws with :12 remaining.

I commented on how well the officiating was after McCrearys first round game with East and the crew lst night officiated the same way, excellent. I can only ho-pe that the person in charge of officials for the 12th region lectures his refs before next year and shows them how the 14th region does it. Can not say enough good things about the atmosphere last night, it was simply electrifying.

I thought it was well officiated and for these two teams to score below 50-60 points ... I would say good defense was played by both teams.
