McCreary has played in two or three region finals since the 1983 team. Wouldn't those games be bigger games than this game.

Regional finals > Region semi's.

 

 

 

You guys forget that McCreary pulled off a HUGE win during the 1992-93 season at the region tournament at South Laurel.

Pulaski County and Kiki Nazario and South Laurel and Jackie Steele were picked to play in the finals that year, but both were knocked off in the semis during a big snowstorm.

 

McCreary canned the Maroons and Casey County, who ended up winning the region, beat South.

I remember Casey because they had a player that looked identical to Travis Ford.

1983!!!! Too long! I'm sure this group of guys are hungry to break that drought! I would love to see them get it done.. But first they have to "Bring It Monday Night"... I'm sure Lincoln will be ready!!!

 

I agree for a school Mccrearys size, 26 years is too long between Trips. No Excuse.

The game against PC that year was a great game. I believe Donnie Frazier had 28 points in that game for the Raiders. In that Final against Casey, MC was up 5 points with under 1 min(if I remember correctly) and ended up losing.

Lincoln still pulls it off. Lincoln by 3.
