The game WAS closer than the score indicates. Notre Dame could have very easily won this game. I hope there are no thoughts that Highlands dominated the game. I don't believe any more than 8 points seperated the teams the entire game.

 

I agree, NDA fought hard expecially the second half. They could have easly won the game. The Panda's seniors played their hearts out. Congrats to the Birds but don't get too comfortable!:taz:

IMO …. HHS v. NCC Saturday evening. I hope that I will be at the 8th finals watching the Lady Pioneers however, if not, I would like to be at this one if it happens! :popcorn:

Why would HHS get comfortable? They play Boone Cty. I don't think anyone would get comfortable playing in the second round of the region, even ND if they had won.

I don't think anyone that saw this game thinks HHS dominated the game. They were down 4 with 2 minutes to go. I was impressed with the way they battled back to win. It would have been easy to quit at that point.NDA had momentum with them until Allen hit the three to bring them within one.

Highlands did dominate the boards 48 to 29. That's just out working your opponent. I guess in this game youth triumphed over experience.

Good point! I didn't realize there was that big of difference in rebounding.
