I was really surprised that the West Carter student section started the chant "Overrated" 13 minutes before the game began. That could serve as motivation for the opposition. Elliott's rebuttal: "You're not rated!"

I saw quite a bit of things from the WCHS student section, I think they had somethings directed towards parents, *cough* Dale *cough*, I also saw some pacifiers and things like that, I don't think any of the kids meant anything by the signs. But nevertheless, Elliott came out on top and I think West may tone it down if they meet Elliott in the regional final, considering the 13 point victory was one of the most lopsided victories in KY Basketball history.

He was really nervous at first but after I talked to him for about 10 minutes about my children and how I had TRIED to live my life and raise them on the principle of my beliefs in jesus he became very calm and congratulated me and said he wished me and my children the best!!! After the game he brought me the shirt and said he felt I should have it and hoped we won the state championship!!!!!!!!!! *Cough* *cough*:banana::ylsuper::clap:

Haha, I'd say he had some egg on his face after EC handled the Comets They're just kids, it's the beauty of student sections. When they are all together they are fearless, but if you get them on their own they go back to being kids again.

I thought the shirt was a HOOT!!! I'm sure Dale and company got a laugh out of it too! Just kind of goes to show you that you "think" you know someone but a totally different person (papa/mama bear) comes out when you feel the need to stand up for your kid(s)! Dale (and Shelia too) is probably one of the best people around here . . . He/They would do anything for any kid!! :ylsuper:

 

I LOVED the student section! It's nice to see them come out in support of their teams!! It's all in good fun!!

 

Glad to see BigSpike attended the game so he could see for himself what we've talked about all year!!

OH... I loved the student section fro WC. West's actons were in relatively good taste

 

High school is about being a kid. Kids have a good time. I'm glad the WCHS student section gets to go to Morehead. When I was a student at WC I never got the opportunity to cheer the Comets on to Morehead.
