King James Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Elisha Justice led the way for SV with 29 points...
swatshop Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Wow, Perry Central must be playing well at the end of the season. Shelby Valley is a quality team. I thought that the score would be much different. The 14th should be a battle between Hazard and PCC.
King James Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Perry shot the ball well and did a good job of controlling the tempo for most of the game. Not turning the ball over against SV is a key to playing them. Perry limited SV's transition buckets, but SV was too much in the end. Elisha hit some big shots in the 3rd and 4th, and SV hit some FT's down the stretch to put it away... This should be a good game for both teams heading into the postseason.
ScarHeel Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 SV has now won 18 games in a row and 19 in a row in the state of Ky. The only loss they have to a Ky team is to Knott Central back in December.

Perry County has been ranked top 15 to 20 in some computer polls all season, but people have been dismissing them.
