February 18, 200917 yr We tried mm's for each time that she used the potty. Had a big jar of them in the bathroom. I gained 5 pounds during the potty training. How long did it take to train her?
February 18, 200917 yr It's been the opposite for us but it's pretty cold to pee off the porch for our little boy lol. The ped. said that it wasn't a big deal at 2 that they would let you know when they are ready. He suggested we wait until summer then see where we are at. Yesterday my 2 year old boy dropped a bomb in his diaper then tried to roll it in the toliet to flush it. He likes to waive bye bye. Needless to say he made a mess and is in between diapers and potty. He kept taking his clothes off at night (I think I did that in college) so we had to cut the back out of the neck of his PJ's and put them on him backwards so he couldn't reach the zipper. That has worked really well. In a nutshell the ped said don't rush it and he was 2 in Oct. Our girl went quicker but he said when they are ready you will know it.
February 19, 200917 yr My daughter is 28 months or 2.25yrs however you look at it and she has gone on the potty some but we have been lazy lately and havent been working with her. Diapers are about to kill me financially though.
February 19, 200917 yr My wife just took my daughter with her every time she went to the restroom and put her on the kids potty. It worked, she was ready in about 3 weeks.
February 19, 200917 yr Author Each day is getting better. Today, we have had no accidents. She refuses to wear a diaper during the day so at least she is feeling ok about it. I will let you know when things are solid.
