Final. Colonels have won their last 4 games.

 

56-40 over Paris

56-40 over Nicholas County

 

46-45 over Model

46-45 over Lewis County

 

Those are some interesting scores. Nice win Colonels!

Im sick of 10th region refs. terrible officiating once again last night.

 

The officiating wasnt ideal but I wouldnt say thats what cost Lewis Co the game. This is more of a time where Lewis played poorly and beat themselves. They werent able to rebound the ball over a smaller Bourbon Co team. Im not sure if Bourbon scored more than 10 points outside the paint yet Coach Hampton continued to play man and let Bourbon get many 2nd chance points.

 

And this might be the first time Ive seen Lewis Co play a game that slowly. They started the 1st and 3rd qtr pushing the ball up the floor and scored easily. However, they walked the ball up the floor the rest of the game and had trouble scoring in there half court offense. Im not sure if they are expecting Raceland to try to slow the game down but thats the only reason I can figure out why they played so slowly.

It seems every time that Lewis co. loses to a 10th region team that the refs are terrible. Interesting.

 

Just looking for some other examples.......

I believe they finished second in Bracken's tourney, they lost in the finals to Brossart, but don't know who else they played in that 10th region event.

 

I believe Bracken was in that tournament, not sure where they finished though, maybe someone familar with them could tell us.

I think they beat Harrison County, Augusta, and Fleming County. And by the way Bracken County was 1-3.

I can't hardley figure out how Lewis County people can complain about 10th region referee's. Every game I have ever watched in the 16th is horriable, what a joke to complain about refs when Lewis County is well known for having 8 players on the floor at one time, 5 players, and three refs. What a joke!!!!
