8th Region Baseball Discussion

Would have to agree with your assessment at this time. Shelby has some very good young talent. Unproven though. It will be interesting to see how they develop this year. Clarkson's return should make a huge impact. I do like Owen and Simon Kenton as well.

I agree Owen should have a good team this year and be lots of fun to watch.

Owen scrimmages Shelby this wednesday, so we will see how the fair against one the the regions top teams.

Go North Oldham.

I've got friends who coach there, I expect them to put out a good product.

Keep an eye out for Henry County

Henry should have a good team this year. The 31st will be up for grabs again this year.

It should be a good scrimmage. The recent good weather (well, at least fairly good) has allowed teams to take advantage of needed outdoor workouts. I know both teams will be anxious to see where they stand.

Looks like Trimble County has a left handed pitcher on their roster. Does anyone know anything about this kid. First name is Cameron don't remember how to spell the last. Has he played before?

Gallatin will be a team to watch, they return Jones, Miles, Giles, Brown, Dossett, these are all underclassmen but they know the game well
