:D My bad  I must have played baseball. :D

I did bat .471 Jr year and .421 Sr. year and 14-2 pitching record. :idunno:

The simple fact is that Holmes owns the 9th region with 19 regional titles(possible #20 this year), which no one comes close too them. With all their regional titles, they have the greatest tradition from the 9th....period.

I am a bit confused by your saying Holmes has won 19 Ninth Region Championship? By my count I see 11. Counting Covington or Grants Ninth Regions Championship is like CovCath counting Newport Catholic or Cov Holy Cross Ninth Regions titles because all three were Catholic High School. I know for a fact that Cov Grant wasn't Cov Holmes at the time, as they were two different schools, so you can't count those as your Ninth Region Championships.:lol: Close but no cigar....but good try.....:lol:

1-1948 - Holmes

2-1951 - Holmes

3-1976 - Holmes

4-1977 - Holmes

5-1978 - Holmes

6-1980 - Holmes

7-1988 - Holmes

8-1990 - Holmes

9-2005 - Holmes

10-2007 - Holmes

11-2008 - Holmes

Holmes 11

Highlands 9

Covcath 8

Newcath 8

In baseball, football, soccer, swimming, Tennis, cross country, academic team, I think in any sport but basketball there is a pretty good chance that they have in the last five years or so maybe less....:lol::lol::sssh:

The Old Guy, just wondering, truthfully. Do you not think that this year in sports at Cov Cath. They have not been as dominate in :confused:Basketball/Football. You guys have always been real strong. I was looking into sending my son to Cov. Cath. Because of the tradition and how they always were a powerhouse in all sports.

To get back on the thread, basketball in the ninth.
