Good game by the Bearcats and Braves. Grant lead 11-10 and Anderson Co ended 1st quarter on 6-0 run. Then scored first 4 of 2nd quarter to make the score 20-11. The game stayed between 6 and 12 the rest of the way. Good game to watch. Grant played well.

Nice win by Anderson. But I think this was a great game for Grant. They left Anderson knowing they can play with them! Caleb Kinmon went 3-13 and Kody Thompson went 3-15. Grant's 2 leading scoreres. So a 12 point loss isn't that bad. Good game to watch. Both teams played very hard!

Grant has a really solid team. Garrard has played both Anderson (a loss) and Grant (an overtime win) this season and I left impressed with both teams. I would always pick Anderson to win, but Grant definitely has the ability to pull an upset.

Anderson is playing great ball with a record now of 19-4. Penny and Russell average 21 rpg and are among the leaders in the state in rebounding. The tandem are also very good scorers. But, last year they were undefeated in the region in regular season and then lost to Gallatin Co. in the 1st round of the region. They haven't been to the state since 1997, although they have been favored several of those last 12 years. I think they get over the hump this year and win the 8th region setting up an interesting re-match possibly with Elliott County on Thursday night in Rupp.
