February 15, 200917 yr I appreciate Nasty Nate being as small as he is and being able to throw it down like he can, but Dwight Howard is the most athletic big man in the NBA; one of the most athletic bigs of all-time-maybe the most athletic other than Wilt. Nate's dunk over Howard sealed it for him, but Howard had the better dunks IMO. I was impressed with Fernandez's two dunks. The second one was messed up by Gasol, had he thrown that down on the first or second try he would have gotten a perfect score. Does anyone believe LeBron? He said he was throwing his name in the ring for the dunk contest next season in Dallas. I would love it if he dunked, if he does stick with it, he's already got it won. I thought Rudy had the best dunks.... Nate used a prop to help his jump on two of his dunks. He won because he is small. I do agree Howard should've saved the 12ft dunk, but all of his dunks are sick. Even the free throw dunk, you have to take it in perspective. How many centers in teh NBA can do that? Not many...
February 15, 200917 yr Nate Robinson, who I already think is a punk, in no deserved to make the 2nd round. Fernandez's dunk was sick. Howard messed up the timing, and he made the 12-foot dunk look way too easy. He still should have won it though....... And if I am not mistaken, I believe Howard said somewhere he is not taking place in this next year?

None, no center in the NBA right now could do that IMO, maybe Amare but I'd say that would be pushing it.

And if I am not mistaken, I believe Howard said somewhere he is not taking place in this next year? You're right, Nate shouldn't have even have been in the second round. He did the exact same dunk as J.R. Smith in the first round and received a 46 to Smith's 43. Then he was luck to get a 41 for jumping off the dude's back. I agree with everyone else that Howard totally messed up the timing of his dunks. Howard still was the most impressive of them all. Not that anyone REALLY cares but how about letting the judges give 8.5 or 9.5. Considering all they give are 8s, 9s, and 10s you're basically slotting the dunks into just 3 categories. Seems like they are kind of limited.
