Yes and my previous statement was exactly the same as my last one. Um.....and I would call myself very informed when it comes to this issue. I cannot help that you defend Bellevue no matter what they do.

YES!!!!!!!

With a record of only 6-10 and having actually only beaten 3 teams (Newport, SG, and Beechwood 2X each) who are 3 of the worst teams in the 9th region........is there a lack of talent or has the coaching change made a huge impact on the program. I realize the new coach has an assistant who has no coaching experience and does not look to contribute much.....but this was a team that I think people thought would be a little more competitive. Coach Sorrell seems like a very knowledgeable coach.

Living the Dream it's unfortunate that you find it necessary to state that Newport, SG & Beechwood are 3 of the worst teams in the 9th region to get your point across. None the less IMO the coaching change has made a huge impact on the program - to the BETTER! Ask any coach(experienced or not)with any program your trying to rebuild it takes time, talant and hard work.

As far as the coaching experience of the assistant that concerns you. I believe she is new to the program and played at BHS under the great Sally Meng. Everyone has to starts somewhere. With Coach Sorrell & Coach Kafel's coaching experience I think that Bellevue Lady Tigers are in the best hands possible. Stay turned-Great things happening at BHS.:dancingpa

Did it occur to you that role of the assistant coach is to do what the head coach asks? Much of the assistants role is behind the scenes on a day to day basis, working with and developing talent. :banana:

From what I'm hearing 4 of the top 7 players didn't start JV last year. As stated previously this is definitely a rebuilding year for the lady tigers.

Then I'm guessing your source is someone that is in practices everyday (coach or player) You must have the inside track. Hopefully they have a strong finish for the season. Best of Luck to the Lady Tigers

Well I AM in practice everyday and I think that the coaching staff is doing a great job. I also would like to point out that there are 2assistant coaches. Coach Norman (you know, the one with 0 experience) does a good job with the girls. Also Tom Kafel (the other assistant coach) helps tremendously in practice. I think coach Sorrel has an excellent coaching staff behind him, and the girls have improved alot from the beginning of the year thanks to the coaches. Tommy is the most dedicated coach I've had and he is doing the best he can for his first year of being a head coach so cut him and the other coaches some slack. :idunno:

There is deffinatly talent coming. Though we will be losing Sarah Brooks and Lhea Bryan there will be younger players stepping up next year. Cassie Glancy has done a great job this year of filling in the shoes of past post players. Cat kesson is a key player now so she will most likely dominate next year as a guard. Megan Arnzen has alot of potential to be a leader on the team. There are also alot of other players who are good and will continue to improve such as Shelby Carelock, Taylor McIntyre,Alicia Stull, Brittany Bohn, Leah Diodato, and many more. I'm looking forward to see what the tigers will do in years to come. :thumb:

livinthedream, it would seem as you feel like the coaching staff doesn't get enough out of their players. Who do you feel like are the players on this team that would start on a top team?
