Miles Kingsley was absolutely the reason Danville won this ball game. He finished with 22 points and I'm sure he was in double digits on the boards. Garrard's center, Trent Prather, picked up two quick fouls in the first half and a third ten seconds into the third period and was never able to get into the game. Those fouls really hurt his playmaking ability and to Kingsley's credit, he capitalized.

JaCody Taylor got hot in the second half, scoring 16 points from all parts of the court. Garrard really doesn't have anyone quick enough to guard him.

Justin Ray led the Lions with 22 points, followed by Evan Preston with 21. As a previous poster said, however, the Ads were able to shut down Tyler Woods. He was held to 10 points.

Turnovers really killed Garrard in the second half. The Lions lead 41-30 at the break, but were outscored by 37-23 by Danville in the second half. Coach DeForest used every timeout and every tactic to help the team, but it just wasn't there tonight.

New district standings:

1. Garrard County (3-1)

2. Lincoln County (2-1)

3. Danville (2-2)

4. Boyle County (0-3)

Garrard and Lincoln both still control their own destiny. Lions have a tough game tomorrow night at Boyle County. Hopefully they can get back in the win column.
